Quality & Training Manager 

Location: Pan India

The Quality Manager for Site Execution in the Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) industry is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of construction activities at the site. This role involves implementing quality management systems, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. The Quality Manager works closely with the site team to deliver high-quality PEB structures.

To train Junior Engineers as per company’s syllabus/training program.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Quality Management System (QMS):

    • Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) specific to site execution.

    • Ensure that all construction activities comply with the QMS and project specifications.

  2. Material and Workmanship Quality:

    • Ensure that all materials used in construction meet specified quality standards.

    • Monitor workmanship to ensure it meets project specifications and industry best practices.

  3. Non-Conformance Management:

    • Identify, document, and manage non-conformances (NCs) and quality issues.

    • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address NCs and prevent recurrence.

  4. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.

    • Prepare regular quality reports for senior management and clients, highlighting key quality metrics and issues.

  5. Client and Stakeholder Communication:

    • Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders on quality-related matters.

    • Address client concerns and ensure their requirements and expectations are met.

  6. Compliance and Standards:

    • Stay updated with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.

    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal quality regulations and standards.

  7. Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance quality.

    • Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and implement improvements to prevent recurrence.

  8. Training and Development:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for employees to ensure adherence to quality standards.

    • Conduct regular training sessions and workshops on quality control processes and best practices.

    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.

  9. Site Management:

    • Oversee quality assurance processes at erection sites to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

    • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve quality issues.

    • Coordinate with site managers and engineers to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the construction process.

  10. Wastage Control:

    • Implement and monitor waste reduction strategies to minimize material wastage.

    • Analyze wastage reports and identify areas for improvement.

    • Educate staff on best practices for efficient material usage and waste management.

  11. Process Improvement:

    • Identify and address process loopholes that could affect product quality.

    • Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans to eliminate quality issues.

    • Continuously review and improve quality control processes and procedures.

  12. Customer Feedback:

    • Collect and analyze feedback from customers regarding product quality and service.

    • Address customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.

    • Use customer feedback to drive continuous improvement in quality standards.
